I can’t wait for these! This is something that I’ve always wanted to do but simply don’t have the time, so I will be very interested to see what you find. I also know a lot of people that don’t listen to the podcast but would listen to these episodes. I’m sure that it will be an exciting journey for you and I am so excited to hear what you find.

Looking forward to this series. As a mossionary in South America, I developed a bit of comtempt for the Catholic Church. Many times we compared transsubstantiation with cannabalism and had a bit of fun with their sacred sacrament. Midway through my faith crisis it hit me that if you have the Catholic concept of God (without form…), the act of literally taking God inside of you becomes quite beautiful and intimate. Thus started my period of Catholic envy. I never thought that would happen! Having left religion altogether, if I ever do feel the pull for the certainly and community that religion provides, I will join the Catholics!

Great idea. My wife and a couple of her other high school teachers have taken groups of students to San Francisco for a whirl wind tour of museums and churches. I have tagged along several times. We have gone to the Glide memorial church, a Greek Orthodox Church, Catholic Church, Hindu temple, Jewish synagogue, and others. Very enlightening for the Utah kids.

Wait a minute — do I detect the Final Fantasy X soundtrack in the background for at least part of this? :D

Yes, you do – for like most of it. Not coincidental, obviously, if you’ve played the game. You’ll also notice that it’s definitely NOT there at certain points too.

It was used to good effect, and I look forward to further entries in the project.
