    I have such a problem with the very term, “apostate”. Why left them define who you are? I refuse to wear the label they assign me.

      I can see how it’s offensive to some and I know there are people who refuse to use terminology like “lost” their testimony, etc.

      Personally, I’d have to care what they think of me to be concerned with what they label me. Since I don’t care why would I waste time creating my own vocabulary that I’d constantly have to explain to people, when I could just as easily get my point across using terminology we all know already?

    They can call me an apostate if they want to, but I don’t use their terminology in reference to myself. Personally, I refer to myself as either a heathen or an infidel (just for fun).
